How To Place a Custom Order
In order for me to give you the most accurate quote for your custom order, there are a few things I will need to know.
First I would need to know your measurements. This will help me determine how much fabric I will need to use for your idea. Look below to find out how to measure yourself.
Next I will need to know what design you have in mind. If you have seen an item in my gallery and would like something similar, let me know what the name of the item is. If you have your own design in mind, that's great too, but please be specific. Ask yourself these questions:
-- Do I want patchwork, stripes, tiers...etc?
-- Do I want any pockets? If so, how many?
-- Do I want an applique? If so, what kind?
-- What kind of fabric do I want to use? Corduroy, cotton, batik...etc
Once you have decided on what you would like, just email me and I will send you a quote usually within 2 business days!
How to measure yourself
For a Dress:
(1) To get your bust measurement, measure (in inches) around your body,
holding the measuring tape across the fullest part of your bust. Please
be sure not to hold the measuring tape too tight, but hold it
comfortably. This measurement is not always your bra size. Be sure you
are not wearing a bra when taking this measurement.
(2) I will need the cup size of your bra. For example, if you wear a
34C, "C" is your cup size.
(3) To get your length measurement, measure (in inches) from right
underneath your bust (where the bottom of your bra would sit) to where
you want the dress to stop. OR If you know your exact height, that can
help me determine what your length would be.
For an Apron Top:
(1) To get your bust measurement, measure (in inches) around your body,
holding the measuring tape across the fullest part of your bust. Please
be sure not to hold the measuring tape too tight, but hold it
comfortably. This measurement is not always your bra size. Be sure you
are not wearing a bra when taking this measurement.
(2) I will need the cup size of your bra. For example, if you wear a
34C, "C" is your cup size.
(3) To get the length measurement, measure (in inches) from right
underneath your bust (where the bottom of your bra would sit) to where
you want the top to stop.
For a Drawstring Skirt:
(1) To get your drawstring measurement, measure (in inches) the fullest
part of your hips. For drawstring skirts, I like to make the waist 2 to
3 inches larger than your hip measurement, to make the skirt easy to put
on and to take off.
(2) To get your length measurement, measure (in inches) from where you
wear your skirt (for example: I wear my skirts on my hips) to where you
want the skirt to stop.
For a Wrap Skirt:
(1) I will need the measurement at where you wear your skirt. (on your
hips? at your waist? ...etc)
(2) To get your length measurement, measure (in inches) from where you
wear your skirt (for example: I wear my skirts on my hips) to where you
want the skirt to stop
